We seek a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our custodial staff. The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff. This role is vital in ensuring our school community's well-being and productivity. This is an evening position. There is a shift differential for the evening shift.

 

Duties Performed:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, offices, and other school areas.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and regularly sanitized throughout the day.
• Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as cafeterias, gymnasiums, and auditoriums.
• Monitor and promptly address any maintenance issues or safety hazards to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down facilities for events, meetings, and activities as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow custodial staff and other school community members to uphold cleanliness standards and address specific cleaning needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
